Ishtar, stage name of Eti Zach, born November 10, 1968 in Kiryat-Ata (Haifa district, Israel), is an Israeli singer of Moroccan and Egyptian descent. She had her first successes with the group Alabina (Alabina consisted of the singer Ishtar, who provided the female vocals, and the group Los Niños de Sara, who provided the male vocals and gypsy music). She speaks Hebrew, English, Arabic and French.
