Product Notes
2013 album from French Canadian singer Carole Facal AKA Caracol. Shiver features Caracol's warm and unique vocal harmonies set against a clever blend of Folk and Indie Pop. This is her first mainly English penned release, featuring only two French songs 'Certitudes' and 'Blanc Mercredi'. Some tracks are more down tempo, folk inspired songs, including opening track 'All the Girls', the haunting 'Sailor Boy' and 'Good Reasons', which is gently percussive with a luxurious strumming guitar. Other tracks like 'Horseshoe Woman' are more upbeat and Country inspired and title track 'Shiver' is a more percussive number, which is bursting with a delightful Pop sensibility.
