Awry (pronounced uh-RYE) has a unique sound -- a blend of sultry female lead vocals, surf/gipsy/jam/twang guitar, upright bass, and jazzy percussion. It's a sophisticated blend that feeds the heart and gets the body moving. Their self-titled debut CD was released on September 15th, 2007, consisting of 13 original songs, including 'Hottie in a Jeep', 'Out of the Cold', and 'Foolish Love.' Awry consists of singer/songwriter Melissa Murray, singer/songwriter/guitarist Seth Fleishman, upright bassist Pete Lister, and drummer Elliot Rubinich.
