    How do I order online?

    A:
    1. Once you’ve found an item you like, simply click the “Buy” or “Add to Cart” button on right hand side of the product page.
    2. A confirmation box will appear to let you know the item has been added to the cart. Follow this process for each item you want to add to your Shopping Cart. You can keep track of the total items in your cart by just looking for the small Shopping cart icon in the upper right corner.

    Checkout

    1. Once you are finished shopping online, on the top right hand corner you can click on “Your Cart” or “ View Cart & Checkout”
    2. On the “Your Cart” page, please check that the product(s), quantity is correct before Checkout.

    If you are a new customer, click the “No, I am a new customer” button and enter your email address.

    If you are an existing customer, click the “Yes, my password is” button and enter your email address.

    1. On the “Confirm payment” page, enter your billing and shipping info. Complete all required fields marked with an asterisk. If you are an existing customer please check that your details are still correct. Click the “Continue Purchase” button. To find out how long it will take to receive your order, please refer to our Shipping & Handling section.
    2. Once you have confirmed your purchase, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address confirming the item(s) purchased, delivery address and the estimated time of arrival.

    How does credit card payment work?

    A:

    Billing is immediately initiated when an order is placed; our secure payment service providers authorise and debit your card simultaneously. WOW HD does not store any payment details.

    What is WOW HD’s Fraud Prevention & Security process?

    A:

    WOW HD intends to provide you with safe and secure shopping experience. WOW HD and our secure payment service providers use the latest technology to protect your credit card information and do not release it to any outside organisation. You can place your orders using secure encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions). Any losses sustained by the transmission of personal information by email or Internet links shall be borne exclusively by you.

    Procedures are in place to ensure the highest level of security when ordering with WOW HD

    You may be contacted by our Payment Verification & Monitoring team to confirm details prior to the processing of your order. Any email from our Payment Verification & Monitoring team will be sent from verification@wowhd.com and make direct reference to your purchase order number. Within this email we may ask for confirmation of your identity and address, particularly if there has been no recent activity in your WOW HD account.

    When the security details have been received, your account is flagged to ensure any future orders placed (where the payment method remains the same), will not be subjected to the same checks.

    We do recognise the inconvenience that this may cause some customers, but we also hope you will appreciate the extra steps we take to ensure your security is not compromised.

    I want to cancel my order, can I still do this after making payment?

    A:

    You may cancel any item “Pending Despatch” at any time by contacting our Customer Service Centre. This excludes Print on Demand titles. Once we receive notification from you that you wish to cancel your item, any amount paid to WOW HD for the item will be refunded as soon as possible. Please refer to “When will my credited card be refunded?

    You can find out about the status of your order at any time by clicking on My Orders.

    Please note: If you cancel your order and have used a promotional voucher. You will forfeit the voucher and not be issued a new one. This rule does not apply to Gift Vouchers.

    My order status is in backorder, what does this mean?

    A:

    All products offered by WOW HD are subject to availability. Backordered products include items that are not currently in stock. In most cases these items are on order from the manufacturers. In some cases we are awaiting or researching stock information from one or more of our suppliers. Backordered titles usually come into stock within 1 to 4 weeks but can occasionally take longer. If for any reason we determine that a backordered item will no longer be available, we will notify you immediately by email, cancel the item from your order and refund you in full.

    Can I order a 'Not Yet Released' item?

    A:

    If an item is displayed with “Not Yet Released” it is not in stock but available for pre-order (meaning you can order in advance before the release date). WOW HD cannot guarantee despatch dates; release dates are subject to change without notice.

    Some books are listed as 'Printed on Demand', what does this mean?

    A:

    These titles are not held in stock but are printed to order; they will show as status “Backordered” in My Orders until despatched. Print on demand provides you with access to millions of rare and out of print publications. Please be aware that some of the older titles (pre-digital printing) may be printed for you from scanned material; this could mean that the text quality is less than the original title. Many titles do not have the original cover art, please see image on site. Despatch usually takes between 7-14 days. Should your order not be supplied to us within 30 days it will be cancelled.

    Where are your items shipped from?

    As an online business many of our products are despatched from various locations around the world. This is one of many reasons why we are able to offer our customers great value and extensive range.

    What happens if I have ordered the wrong region for a CD, DVD or Game?

    A:

    It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that they have selected a compatible product when adding the item to the basket. Game formats and DVD/Blu Ray regions are displayed on the product page prior to checkout. We also provide web links explaining the game formats and DVD/Blu Ray regions. Please contact Customer Service prior to checkout if in doubt regarding compatibility, and we will be happy to assist.

    Items ordered incorrectly or incompatible with customer’s equipment is not covered by our Returns Policy. As such a return processing fee of £3.00 applies to any item returned under these circumstances. These items are to be returned to us at your expense in an unused, unopened condition without the seals or wrapping being removed or broken.
